Cooking

Roll out the dough and cut it into squares 7–10 centimeters wide. Put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Make edges about 1 centimeter high along the edges of the squares.

The secret of this recipe is in the combination of nut-honey filling and crisp dough. It's simple, but in the end the dish resembles an exotic oriental sweetness.

  • Honey - 2-3 tablespoons,
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp.,

  2. While the nuts are hot, mix them with honey and sugar. Add cinnamon. Mix everything well and let it sit a little, so that the nuts are soaked in the scent of cinnamon and honey.

  • Puff pastry - 450 g (10 sheets),

  • Semolina - 150-170g,

  • Vanilla.

  • Water - 400-450 g,
  • Sugar - 800 g,
  • Lemon zest - with 1 pc.,

  • Vanillin.
  1. First, the syrup is cooked. Water the dish only with cooled syrup.
    Mix all ingredients (except honey) for the syrup. Bring to a boil while stirring. When sugar dissolves completely, set aside, add honey.

    Separate the yolks from the proteins.
    Protein (50g) beat with sugar until peaks.
  3. Beat 50 g with yolks until thick.
  4. Gradually adding the meringue to the yolks, gently mix everything.
  5. Milk with the rest of the sugar boil.
  6. While stirring, gradually pour semolina and vanillin.

  8. When semolina cooked, remove from heat and add oil.
  9. Mix semolina and egg mixture. Stir so as not to form a foam.
