In recent years, unexpected guests have increasingly appeared in residential premises. Many housewives ask themselves why black beetles get in the apartment, and whether they are dangerous to health. What you need to do to drive out the voracious and unpleasant insects? If the idea with cockroaches is clear, then the black bugs are an absolutely unknown topic for the inhabitants of our country.

If the insect variety is unknown, then it is worth starting the liberation campaign with the obligatory general cleaning. To explain this approach is quite simple - any creature requires food. You need to try to remove all the dust, crumbs and debris behind the sofas and cabinets, if black beetles appeared in the apartment. Food for mysterious guests can be cereals, flour or natural fabrics.

The name of this type is Tenebrio molitor. Another name for these insects is mealworms. There are many different representatives of this family, differing in size or color. The big black beetle in the apartment is most likely an ordinary hrushak. It is absolutely safe for humans, but it spoils stocks of cereals and flour.

Black beetles in the apartment: ways to get rid

First you need to understand where and how these insects live? Khrushchaks get into the house along with infected grains or less often with street dust. Therefore, no cleanest mistress is immune from flour eaters and dried fruit. Black beetles in an apartment grow out of tiny larvae. The eggs of these insects are so small and indistinguishable in color from the croup that even careful sifting will not help to get rid of them. Throwing out all contaminated food, you need to thoroughly wash all cabinets, shelves and containers from under the bulk products. In homes with untreated wooden interiors, hruschaks can lay eggs on the floor or walls.

In the summer, migratory insects can fly into the windows of homes, so the presence of a mosquito net is very desirable. Black beetles do not live in the apartment for a long time, but they will have time to infect the space with their voracious larvae. Therefore, when detecting pests, it is necessary to treat the whole house with one of the following solutions:

  • dilute vinegar or baking soda with plain water and treat all surfaces,
  • You can use a weak solution of manganese or a special detergent.

To prevent black beetles from appearing in the apartment in the future, it is recommended that regular infection prevention be carried out. Each new cereal or flour should be stored in clean, dry and very airtight containers. For reliable protection from eggs and microlichinka, you can bake the food in the oven or freeze it for a day in the refrigerator. This method is quite effective, but it can destroy nutrients in future meals. Popular wisdom proposes to fight the Khrushchev with ordinary garlic. One ripe and sugary cloves put in each jar with cereal. On the shelves, you can decompose the sprigs of lavender or fleece, moistened in its essential oil. Proponents of modern technology use regular treatment with dichlorvos, but then it takes a long time to air the room and wash the food shelves with detergent.

Insect penetration methods

Just say how the beetles entered the apartment, and the reasons for its occupation is impossible. However, identifying potential penetration sites is not difficult. These include:

  1. Open windows and doors, or not tightly closed. If they do not have a grid, then the unobstructed penetration of insects into the apartment is guaranteed.
  2. The presence of even minor cracks in the window structures and risers with pipes. Small individuals easily seep into microscopic holes from everywhere.
  3. Migration from the basement, attic, from the neighbors. Through holes in the walls, ventilation and other communications, insects crawl from one room to another.
  4. Accidental entry on clothes, hair or objects from the outside. After the people visit the parks, the beetles get entangled in their hair, or are brought into the housing along with the acquired furniture.

Whatever the causes of the appearance of insects, disposal of them should be made immediately, until the population has reached a huge size, and its destruction does not require large time and material costs.

Insect damage

Any insects in the apartment are not desirable. They can cause trouble for homeowners, damaging furniture and food, carrying bad bacteria and infections. The most common inhabitants of the apartments are kozheedy. These are small individuals of brown color, preferring light and dry dwellings, where they hide in window-sills and baseboards, bookshelves and other places.

What harm from kozheedov?

  1. Fur cones harm fur products, gnawing at them holes and extensive gaps. In the cabinets of clothes and shoes, they create egg clutches, from which brown larvae hatch, destroying any fabrics.
  2. Food beetles spoil bulk products. They infect the interiors of kitchen cabinets with their clutches, quickly increasing the population. Groats, flour and sugar after the appearance of insects are not suitable for food.
  3. Brown leather kozheedy spoil pieces of furniture, carpeting, wooden interior details, forever destroying their appearance. Moreover, the external and internal parts of the furniture become unusable.

Together with kozheedi, beetles with a size larger can penetrate into a dwelling. These are cockroaches - black individuals, up to three centimeters in length, having a dense peel that makes a crackling sound when crushed. Dropping cockroaches urgently, resorting to any available methods. The best option for extermination is professional disinfection conducted by special services, since self-disposal of insects does not lead to an excellent result. And they carry a lot of viruses, adapting to many insecticides.

In the high-rise buildings there are brittle meal - small black insects. They nest in kitchen units, eating cereals and dry herbs. When a pair of individuals is detected, it is necessary to inspect the kitchen, removing the spoiled food, otherwise they will instantly breed, reaching even hermetically packed food.

Ways to get rid

In order to proceed to effective measures, it is necessary to determine the type of insects living in the apartment, and acquire effective insecticidal agents. Or get acquainted with successful techniques, including folk methods.

  1. Khozheedov, along with imago, egg clutches and caterpillars, can be removed by cold. Low temperatures are detrimental to the insect at any stage of its development. In winter, it is recommended to air the rooms regularly.
  2. As a preventive measure and when re-processing it is worth using insecticides in aerosols. Holding such events three times a week throughout the crescent will help solve the problem.
  3. Things from wool and other fabrics can secure a solution of "permethrin". It does not harm their structure and color, reliably scaring off both beetles and moths.
  4. Powdered boric acid, scattered in problem areas, will eliminate all insects in the house, including bugs.
  5. If you clean the apartment with vinegar or disinfectants, the larvae and eggs will be completely destroyed.
  6. “Dichlorvos” is a well-known drug to all consumers. This is the easiest way to handle the apartment. The main thing is precautionary measures and product packaging.
  7. Preparations with lavender (including tablets, tampons with lavender oil) will allow you to remove bugs and flavoring the apartment.

If these measures do not bring a positive result in the fight against beetles, then the specialists are always ready to help by performing disinfection promptly and effectively.

Where bugs can come from in the apartment

"Domestic" beetles can appear in the house, even if there is perfect order and cleanliness. In this case, the owners may not even guess about such a neighborhood. Insects can fly into the window from the street in the warm season, they can be brought home from a store with cereals or flowers, they can come to you from a library or a bookstore in a book, etc.
Having settled in a new place, insects begin to actively seize the territory: they feed, multiply and want to eat not only our food reserves, but also wardrobe or furniture items.

What types of beetles can start at home, where they settle and how they can harm

In nature, there are many different types of flying and crawling insects. Some of them love to live with us next door in warm and dry apartments, where there is always something to eat. Most often in apartments you can find small black or brownish bugs of a very small size. They can settle in different places of the apartment and can cause considerable harm to the owners of their habitat.

Beetle grinder

A small dark brown bug ranging in size from 1 to 9 mm, depending on the species. In nature, there are many types of grinders, all of which are able to break down cellulose and can feed on wood, cardboard, paper, etc. Their distinguishing feature is the unusual ticking sounds that males make during the mating season, attracting females. Grinders destroy everything that can be digested by their digestive system. And the greatest harm is caused not by adults, but by their faces. Beetles can ruin the furniture in the apartment, carpets, wallpaper, etc.

House grinder settles where there is damp wood. As a rule, it does not settle in dry rooms and prefers the exterior walls of wooden houses or baths. Some bugs are able to destroy even the whole building, gnawing lower logs, causing further collapse of the house.

Digestive system contains an enzyme capable of digesting cellulose.

Furniture grinder settles only in dry rooms. He is interested not only in wooden walls inside the apartment, but also in furniture, paintings with wooden frames, old books, etc. It is rather difficult to notice the presence of insects: they hide in dark places, trying not to be seen by the owner of the room, but characteristic ticking sounds and small holes in furniture (2-3 mm in size) they are able to indicate their presence. If the beetle settles in the furniture, then most of the time it spends inside. The larva grows about 3 weeks at a favorable air temperature (above +26 0 С), feeding and destroying a piece of furniture from the inside. If the air temperature drops, the development of the larva stops and already in the pupal stage it can spend up to 2-3 years. The life span of an adult beetle is 2-3 weeks.

The comb grinder differs from its close relative by the presence of a chic mustache. Settles inside a wooden structure and does not go outside until it completely destroys its habitat.

Beetles settle in groceries, leave characteristic round holes in bags

Bread grinder has a special taste - gourmet. He prefers more tasty food products to wood: bread, grain, dried fruits, cereals, macaroni, etc. It is not recommended to eat foods in which this type of insect is found, since they can be toxic to humans.

Preventive measures to combat these insects will help save a lot of money in the future. To protect yourself from the settlement of such undesirable neighbors, it is necessary to carefully inspect all wooden objects that are planned to be used for finishing. Carefully inspect the furniture when buying and during operation. Finishing materials can be treated with antiseptic formulations. Wipe wood products with a sponge impregnated with a special compound. When buying in the store packaging with cereals or other groceries, you need to carefully inspect the contents. Keep kitchen cupboards clean, ventilate and wipe them regularly.

Tailtail

The horntail (podura) is one of the pests that settle in flower pots and damage the root system and the leaves of plants. The insect is small (0.2–10 mm), white, sometimes gray or yellowish. Prefers moist (overmoistened) soil, eat rotting organic matter and roots of a flower. Distributed to neighboring plants. May cause wilting and death of indoor plants.
You can detect a springtail after watering - some insects will float on the surface or move actively. And you can also put a piece of apple, potato, etc. in a flower pot - springtails will come running for a treat.

Plant in a wet flower ground

For the prevention and disposal of podur you need to perform simple actions. If there are few insects, then it is sufficient to dry the substrate well and not allow it to be overmoistened. If the number of insects is significant, then the plant can be transplanted into clean soil, pre-washing the roots, sprinkle the substrate with wood ash, and restrict watering. If these measures are not enough, then you can use any insecticidal agent.

Silverfish - small wingless insects of silver color. It settles in warm and damp places: near the sink in the kitchen, in the bathroom or in the toilet, on the windowsill near the flower pots. During the day they hide, move quickly, making short stops. It is believed that they are one of the oldest insects, their ancestors lived more than 300 million years ago in the tropics. They eat everything that contains starch or sugar, including wallpaper, book bindings, toilet paper and some types of clothing that have been used to process starch. Not dangerous for humans and pets. Does not bite. Does not tolerate the disease. If, however, the neighborhood with silver bugs is not happy - we will get rid of them. There are several proven popular recipes:

  • We mix boric acid with chalk in a proportion of 4: 1, we decompose in places of favorite silverfish. Repeat a month later
  • Wash the surface of the habitat of insects with a chlorine-containing agent, after drying, treat with copper sulfate solution, dry thoroughly,
  • If these measures turned out to be insufficient, then we use insecticides: gels, sprays, etc.
Silverfish likes wet places in apartments: sinks, window sills, toilets and bathrooms

Flour Khrushchak

A flour Khrushchak is a flightless red-brown beetle, has an oblong body and small size (small Khrushchak - 3-5.5 mm). The large hruschak can reach up to 1.8 cm in size, settles on grocery bases and warehouses in conditions of high humidity. The mealworm larvae are called mealworms. Insects are planted in grocery stocks, can be brought into the apartment with groats, bought in the store. In apartments with heating, as a rule, there is a small flour hruschak. For development, it does not need increased humidity, but it also enjoys a warm habitat temperature. Although it is possible to overwinter the larvae even at zero air temperature. At low temperatures, insects and larvae die.

A small reddish beetle likes to settle in cereals, flour, etc.

If such insects are bred in the croup (flour), food cannot be used for food. Even when sifting, you will not be able to get rid of insect eggs: they are very small and sticky, stick to the grains and anyway penetrate the main mass. You can, of course, freeze the cereal, then additionally heat it in the oven, but still the most correct thing is to throw away all the suspicious stocks and wash the cabinets with the addition of soda and vinegar essence. If the spread of the flour beetle is extensive, plinths, window sills and other surfaces should be treated with insect spray (for example, Dichlorvosome).

Kozheed beetle

The kozheed beetle is a flying black-black insect up to 4 mm in size. It can penetrate the apartment in different ways: just fly into the window, arrive with a bouquet of flowers, move to you along with purchased second-hand furniture, etc.

A flying insect whose bite can cause an allergic reaction

Very unpleasant and dangerous roommate. It is omnivorous, eats everything that comes its way: leather and fur products, silk and woolen things, carpets, foodstuffs and even concrete and plastic. They like to settle down in upholstered furniture, under baseboards and in wooden window blocks and in bags with cereals. They breed quickly, each adult female lays up to 30 eggs, of which after 1 month the larvae will appear. A larva with an insufficient amount of food can exist for up to 4 years, under favorable conditions it will turn into an adult within a year. In addition, kozheedy damage carpets, clothing and other necessary things, they are dangerous to humans and pets. They bite! Their bites, of course, are not lethal, but they can easily infect a person with helminths or cause an allergic reaction. If in the morning you find a bite mark, treat the wound with a peroxide or alcohol-containing liquid.
Voluntarily kozheedy not leave you, so you have to get rid of them.

  • Vacuuming, and immediately throw the bag to collect dust on the street,

Then we process plinths, carpets and other places of possible accumulations of parasites with boric acid, or with a preparation containing such acid. Aerosols and insecticidal action gel is also very useful.

Book louse

A book louse is a senoyed book, most often settled in archives, libraries, herbaria. Home can get with archival documents, library books or infected grain. He loves to feed on the roots of books, dried leaves in herbariums, etc. He does not hesitate to eat grain and loose products.

Their presence can be heard: insects emit a characteristic tick

The size of this small whitish insect does not exceed 1 mm. The presence of these insects produces a sound: a characteristic tick. For a person of pet danger is. Folk ways to fight - bring the book to the cold, or, conversely, warm up. Commercially available fumigators and insecticides successfully cope with insect pests.

Shashel is an insect affecting wood. There are two types of these beetles: house and furniture. If under the piece of furniture you find dust, it's time to sound the alarm. Shashel settles in wooden walls, furniture, books. The main harm is not caused by adult individuals, but by the larvae, gnawing through multiple passages inside the tree. Just like the grinder beetle, it makes ticking sounds, which also makes it possible to detect beetles in an apartment.

Arrange a lot of moves inside wooden objects

Folk blends for wood processing:

  • mix 250 g of sodium fluoride solution with 10 liters of hot water and spray all wooden surfaces with a spray,
  • mix 3 l of turpentine and 1 l of kerosene, treat the surface,
  • mix 10 l of turpentine, add 300 g of creolin, 500 g of wax and 500 g of paraffin, obtained a homogeneous mixture lubricate the surface.

If the problem remains unsolved, use insecticidal and antiseptic treatments.

Bark beetle

Bark beetle - a dangerous pest. Both larva and adult feed on wood. For several years, able to destroy a wooden house. It represents a danger to humans by gnawing on supporting structures, causing the building to collapse. It settles in gardens, on summer cottages, eggs it lays in the bark of living trees, then it can move into houses. At detection of insects it is necessary to take urgent measures.

To get rid of parasites is quite difficult, but necessary. Can destroy the building in a short period of time

Woodwire beetle

The wood borer beetle (woodcutter) is a small insect (up to 3 mm), dark brown or black. Spends most of the life cycle inside the wood, is selected to the surface only during the mating period. They settle in dry wood, the main damage is caused by the larvae, making multiple moves inside. The larva can live in wood for up to 20 years, cutting through kilometers of tunnels and turning wood into dust. To destroy the parasites can only strong insecticides, or seek the help of professionals.

How to get rid of bugs at home

If in one of the descriptions you recognize your neighbor, then it's time to get to work in order to clean your dwelling from uninvited guests. For starters, you can try to do it yourself using quite affordable tools and techniques. As a rule, these methods are similar and affect most of the pests that can be started at home.

Folk remedies

We start with high-quality cleaning. In the vacuum cleaner it is better to use disposable dust bags. To the bugs did not have time to get out, the packages quickly need to take out on the street and burn. When cleaning we use soda, acetic essence, boric acid, chlorine-containing agents.

If there is such an opportunity, we subject the affected things to treatment with low or high temperatures, freeze or treat with steam.

Folk remedies that affect certain types of insect parasites are listed in the description of the species of beetles. These funds are non-toxic, but one-time treatment is not enough: repeated treatments will be needed 4, or even 5 times. The process of expelling insects will be long.

Types of black beetles

In order to know which means to use against these uninvited guests more effectively, it is necessary to determine the type of insects. This is fairly easy to do if you know what they eat. In tanks with cereals, flour, beetles are often found, which are popularly called Khrushchev. Larger in size, their representatives are found on the bookshelves. Many troubles are delivered by kozheedy, whose name speaks for itself. And in wooden buildings, a bark beetle is often wound up.

Khrushka beetles and methods of dealing with them

To find the larvae of these insects is quite difficult because of their smallest sizes. Later on, large black beetles (up to 2 cm in size) appear. In the apartment, where they only began to explore the territory, it is enough to carry out a thorough cleaning to get rid of these insects forever.

All cereals and flour should be checked for the presence of egg laying larvae. At the slightest suspicion of their presence from the products will have to get rid of, because sifting them is useless. All shelves are treated with a solution of potassium permanganate or vinegar, then dichlorvos and washed with any detergent.

Bark beetles: how to deal with them

They are most often found in wooden buildings and are much less likely to come across these black beetles in an apartment. How to get rid of these uninvited guests with the help of folk remedies is well known to residents of the countryside, where houses built of wood predominate. Measures aimed at combating this insect cannot be postponed. The bark beetle in a short time is able to destroy the structure of the building, causing irreparable damage to the dwelling.

To do this, take a mixture of turpentine and kerosene in the ratio of 3: 1 and pour it all the visible passages of the pests, then seal them with paraffin.

Today, for this you can buy in the store and specialized chemicals. When detecting single holes, you can use tools such as "Confidor", "Antizhuk" or "Antishechelin", introducing them with a syringe. Pump the solution repeatedly, and then treat the surface with some antiseptic (stain, linseed oil or machine oil). If there are too many moves done by beetles, the affected area is completely covered with several layers of chemical. Processing should be carried out immediately, as soon as black beetles were discovered in the apartment. In this case, it is necessary to leave the premises for a while, since Chemicals mentioned are toxic.

Preventive actions

It is always easier to prevent the appearance of any insects in an apartment than to get rid of them later. Therefore, it is recommended to carry out preventive measures from time to time, eliminating the appearance of insect pests in the house.

Special aerosol insecticides will help in this. They are even effective against insects such as small black flying beetles. The apartment can be used to combat them boric acid. She daubed the back walls of the cabinets and the inside of the carpet. Lavender oil is a fairly reliable prophylactic. Soaked cotton swabs in it are laid out in different parts of the apartment. In the same way you can use lavender tablets. In addition to the function of protection against insects, this tool also fills the room with a pleasant aroma.

Black cockroaches

If big black bugs appeared in an apartment that have such a dense exoskeleton that they crack when crushed, most likely they are so-called black cockroaches. It is necessary to get rid of them without delay, since These are carriers of dangerous pathogenic viruses. It is best to call the health service, because the fact that it will be possible to independently remove these insects is unlikely - they are immune to most insecticides.

Insects penetrate the apartments in a variety of ways - through open windows and doors, crevices in window frames, air vents, etc. But no matter how black beetles in an apartment turn out, you need to get rid of them as quickly as possible. Their number is growing very fast. The result of delay can be damaged furniture, products, as well as the possibility of infection with infectious diseases.

Where do bugs come from in the apartment

When the owners notice that black beetles have appeared in the room, despite the fact that there is no confusion in the room and the cleaning was done on time, the question immediately arises where they may appear from.

Ways of appearance of beetles in the apartment:

  • cracks in the walls, window frames in which small insects are able to crawl easily,
  • ventilation shafts and openings in which protective nets are not installed,
  • windows and vents open for airing can become an “entrance door” through which flying insects fly into the apartment,
  • through sewer and water pipes,
  • black beetles in the apartment in the summer appear, clinging to the shoes or clothes of people, thus penetrating into the living rooms and the kitchen,
  • from the adjacent basement or attic.

Photos and names of black beetles

It is possible to determine exactly how the black beetle in the house is called, by appearance and size, as well as by the place of their stay. They can settle in foodstuffs, as well as in furniture, carpets or wooden structures and walls.

The most common black-colored beetles, which sometimes settle in an apartment or a private house, are frogs or flour beetles. They received the second name for preferring to eat cereals and other bulk products.

In total there are 3 types of hruschakov:

  • big bugs - distinguished by their length (up to 13 mm),
  • small - have a size of up to 3.6 mm
  • black - different black color.

In addition to the mealworm, there are other types of small black bugs in the apartment:

  • kozheedy - up to 4 mm in size, small black insects that feed on fur and leather products, paper from books, indoor plants and foodstuffs (flour, nuts, cereals, meat, etc.) live in cabinets, in old clothes, furniture crevices, dangerous because they can carry infections and worms,
  • carpet bugs - settle in bed and carpets, feed on the old, scrubbing skin of people, hair and crumbs, they are capable of disabling things, and also cause allergies in some people,
  • fleas - jumping small parasites, bite painfully and can carry an infection, often appear in homes where cats and dogs live.

Big Hrushka

According to the biological classification, the Khrushka beetles belong to the Blackbeet family, numbering 11 species, of which only 3 are distributed in Russia and Moscow.

Khrushchak is a big black beetle up to 1.8 cm long, its body is flattened, only 6 legs (3 pairs). Body color - black-brown and shiny, belly has a reddish tint. Females lay eggs for 200 pcs. in the nest. The larva of the pest (popularly called the flour worm) has a larger size of up to 2.5 cm and a brown-yellow color. It feeds on grain, flour, and bran. As the larva grows, it goes through 4 molts.

Khrushchov chooses as habitats in the apartment those located near their favorite food. In nature, they prefer to live in hollows of trees or its rotten parts. The main ration of the beetle consists of their animal food (carcasses of small mammals and insects) and plant food.

Living in an apartment, beetles are looking for food in the form of grain, flour, cereals or bran. They spoil food stocks, polluting them with their excrement, skins from larvae and dead insects. In a short time, black bugs can breed and fill all kitchen cabinets and drawers.

Small hruschak

The small beetle has a brown or red color of the body and causes considerable damage to the food supply of a person in an apartment. It is widely distributed in Russia and in Ukraine, where it often becomes the culprit of grain spoilage in granaries, in mills and other places where bulk goods are stored.

The red-brown beetle is smaller in size (up to 3.6 mm), but it likes to settle in various food reserves in an apartment: flour, nuts, dried fruits and other fruits of plants.

Unlike the large hruschaks, the small one has wings and is able to fly. The males of such a flying insect have a rounded abdomen, covered with hairs. In females, the tip of the calf is bare, they are able to lay up to 1 thousand pieces in the egg-laying.

The larva of the small hrushaka has a flat shape and is up to 7 mm long, the body color is yellow-brown (light or dark shades), and the head is flattened. The body is covered with hairs and ends with 2 spikes. The doll is painted in light yellow color, and its body is shiny and completely naked. The development cycle of the flying black beetle is 20-120 days, and the growth rate directly depends on the amount of food and living conditions.

Black Hrushka

The 3rd species of beetles has a darker, almost black body color, the size of which is up to 5.5 mm. Their torso is matte, the color varies from black to brown.

Unlike other species, the black small bugs of the hrushkaks prefer to live only in heated premises. Settling in the kitchen in the houses and apartments of people, they are able to spoil not only food, but glue, fabrics (knitwear and capron) and other products. They are much less common than their large and small counterparts. The larvae grow to a size of 12 mm.

However, settling in an apartment, a hruschak colony can cause a lot of damage. Feeding on the excreta of other pests (mice and rats), they can become carriers of infections and worms.

Methods of fighting bugs

If black beetles appeared in the apartment, then first of all you should determine their appearance by external signs.

Depending on the identification carried out, various control methods can be applied to help get rid of black beetles:

  • Kozheedami and carpet pests should be dealt with by treating carpets and furniture; first they should be wiped with a sponge soaked in soapy water and then with vinegar, one day after processing, the carpets and furniture should be well vacuumed and the bag must be thrown away there may be insect eggs,
  • for the destruction of the mealworm it is necessary to carefully sort through all the stocks of bulk products (flour, cereals, sugar, etc.), if they are found, everything must be thrown away, because they are not suitable for eating,
  • inspect the contents of all cabinets for the detection of black or red small bugs, then make a solution of 1 tbsp. l soda for 1 liter of water and process all surfaces and shelves inside the cabinets, the dishes need to be washed with detergents and boiling water,
  • wash all surfaces in the kitchen with a solution of acetic acid or use boric acid powder, which should be rubbed into the possible habitats of the parasites,
  • process the flooring and baseboards with any aerosol containing insecticide against insects (Dichlorvos, Combat, Reid, etc.),
  • clothes should be boiled or washed in hot water (not lower than + 60 ° С).

The procedure for the destruction of insects should be repeated 2 times a week during the month, since new generations of bugs will be removed from the deposited eggs of insects, which must also be destroyed.

If the measures taken do not help or if there is no time to fight the beetles in the apartment for a long time, then it is better to turn to professionals. There are companies that with the help of special preparations carry out pest control (extermination of insect pests) in any residential premises.

Bark beetles and other inhabitants of wooden houses

In addition to the above-listed beetles living in apartments, there are also specific species that live in a wooden house. Most often insects get into the house along with infected building materials and pose a great danger to all wooden structures and furniture. In a short time they can not only destroy valuable property, but also turn all walls and structures of buildings into dust.

They differ in that their main food is wood:

  • bark beetles - a large group of beetles (750 species), the size of an insect is 5-10 mm, bark beetles in the forest carry out sanitary work, destroying rotten trees, and in a wooden house are considered pests, they gnaw through long passages in the wood and destroy it, the insect larva are capable in a few years "eat" the whole house
  • grinders - long oblong small bugs with a size of 2-10 mm of black or brown color, belong to coleoptera, are dangerous for wooden structures, furniture, books and cardboard, feed on grain stocks, emit characteristic tick sounds, pretend to be dead at the slightest danger, black beetles in the house at night and can be identified only by rustling and other sounds,
  • barbel - larger pests (size up to 35 mm) of black, brown or blue-green color, with large whiskers (10 times longer than the body), larvae - large, up to 3 cm in size, capable of damaging a wooden house in a private house, turning designs in full dust in a relatively short period of time, they prefer to settle in coniferous woods (in partitions, on the floor, on the roof, etc.).

All beetles, gnawing wooden walls or furniture in the house, make a distinctive sound, similar to the ticking of a mechanical clock.

The most effective and simplest way is to take preventive measures, that is, to treat construction wood with special antiseptic agents that will protect all structures from pests.

However, if such domestic beetles have already settled in a wooden house, then there are several recipes for their destruction. The peak of their activity falls on May-June; it is in these months that the struggle will become the most effective.

Folk remedies for the destruction of pests in wood:

  • the use of vaseline oil, which with the help of a syringe is injected into the found passages and holes in the tree, you can fill them with wax,
  • mix turpentine and kerosene in the ratio of 3: 1 and pump it into the slots and passages,
  • a mixture of naphthalene (10 g) and gasoline (100 ml) is applied to the surface of the tree with a brush,
  • One of the effective ways is to warm the rooms in the house with hot air (at a temperature of + 60 ° C) or to freeze in winter frosts (at -5 ... -10 ° C),
  • pour the passages and slots with a mixture of naphthalene, resin and carbolic acid,
  • sprinkling a solution of copper sulphate with a syringe,
  • before starting to work, it is better to clean the holes in the walls with wire.

In addition to traditional methods and solutions, experts recommend the use of chemicals:

  • insecticides containing cypermethrin, organophosphorus compounds and lambda-cyhalothrin, of these chemicals the most effective is Fufanon, which should be treated at least 2 times with an interval of 2 weeks,
  • Aerosols Prima-71, Bichromate, Dichlorvos - used to fight the larvae in July.

If after the events, black and gray bugs still remain in the tree, then you should seek help from specialists who will help to neutralize the wooden house from dangerous pests.

Chemicals

If you want to get the effect quickly and surely, then only chemical preparations for controlling insect pests will help.
The chemical industry offers us various means against crawling and flying insects. As a rule, they act contact, affecting the nervous system of insects, causing paralysis and their subsequent death. These can be powders, aerosol sprays, gels, treatment solutions and fumigators.

  • Aerosols (Raid, Combat, Dichlorvos, Raptor, Clean House, Armol),
  • Concentrates for spray guns (Difox, Xsulat Micro, Lambda Zone, Delta Zone, Get),
  • Insecticidal gels (Great Warrior),
  • Powders in the form of dusts,
  • Fumigators,
  • Traps.

The most difficult thing to do with tree beetles is that external treatment will not be enough. Wood should be soaked. If holes are visible on the surface, then special insecticide solutions are introduced into the passages.

Important! When working with insecticides, you must follow the rules for safe handling of chemicals:

  • work with chemicals in gloves and a mask
  • do not smoke or eat or drink during and immediately after processing,
  • air the room after working with the drug,
  • wash your hands and face
  • Do not store residues of diluted products for reuse.

Professional processing

If all independent methods of destroying the enemy have been tested, and insects still live with you, only specialists will help to change the situation in the future.

Professionals will be able to accurately determine the type of insect and choose the right drug and method of treatment.

The processing methods they use are:

  • Drill the holes, inject the insecticide inside, then seal the holes,
  • Produce gas processing Phosphine. The gas penetrates the gaps and holes, soaking the wood,
  • A special generator produces a microwave treatment (on the principle of a microwave oven).

What a bug

The kozheed beetle is a small insect whose body length does not exceed 7–9 mm. The bug moves slowly, and if you touch its body, it will turn over on its back. A bug flys rather awkwardly, sometimes not getting to the goal the first time. Kozheed color can vary from light brown to black. Brown larvae covered with hairs. There are about 6 hundred species of representatives of the kozheedov family. But seven of them do the most harm.

Kochoedy fly badly, but they like a hearty meal

What attracts kozheeda human dwelling

In nature, these pests live on the banks of swamps, ponds, and in damp areas. But in the dwelling of a man for an insect there is so much of all that is delicious that they are not averse to settling in houses. Kozheedov attract:

  • natural fabrics (wool, fur, felt, silk, down),
  • cardboard,
  • glue (especially the one used to glue the binding of books),
  • wood products,
  • food products (cereals, jerky, fish, bread),
  • wallpaper,
  • parquet,
  • picture frames
  • wires and cables
  • garbage of plant and animal origin.

Breeding

Koozheedy are very prolific, for the life the female lays more than a hundred larvae, giving 4–5 progeny per year. At the same time, eggs are very tenacious, they can live without food for years. And if “away” a sufficient amount of food, the pupae to adult individuals develop almost instantly. It is the larvae that cause the greatest damage, since they shed 6–7 times every 9–10 days, and before pupation they eat a lot and in various ways, gnawing their moves in edible and inedible materials up to 10 cm.

Kogeed larvae do not stop for a second: they are always in search of food

It is interesting. Kozheedy bugs can safely live up to 4 years without food, while maintaining the ability to reproduce and prosperous development after the appearance of the power source.

What is dangerous

Despite its modest size, kozheed is a source of danger to humans, as it is a carrier of infections, eggs of parasites (including helminths). Bugs are not blood-sucking insects, but the human body is attracted by the smell of dead skin particles. Skin bites are quite painful, especially for children and women. The site of damage to the skin usually turns red, and due to the individual characteristics of the body of the victim, it may swell, itch. To reduce the risk of infection, the bite site must be disinfected (for example, chlorhexidine or vodka).

In addition to direct harm to the human body, kozheedy cause more and mediated:

  • spoil furniture, interior items, clothes,
  • are unaesthetic and unpleasant sight in the house.

How to identify that in the house kozheed

The appearance of uninvited guests in the house is very difficult to calculate. After all, they are transferred to shoes, clothes, flowers, pets, can enter the house through open windows. And to understand that lodgers appeared, it is very difficult for a person, because bugs are nocturnal, and at first the scale of their invasive plans are not visible. Until the larvae become so numerous that the characteristic gnawed turns appear on textiles and food products. As well as a signal that your house is occupied, there are traces of skin bite beetles on the skin.

See kozheeda difficult, but his larva and even more so

How to find a habitat

Even if you notice only one or two bugs, it’s impossible to pretend that the problems are not. After all, the main harm is done by the larvae, which are carefully hidden. Usually habitats are:

  • upholstered furniture,
  • areas under the baseboard,
  • window frames and openings
  • window sills,

Kochedins do not like light, so they prefer to settle in secluded corners, for example, between a window sill and a wall, in books, behind cupboards

It is very important to thoroughly investigate these places, because prior to the detection of the localization of kozheedov, it is practically pointless to carry out activities for removing bugs.

Causes of

Tiny insects are found everywhere:

  • under the baseboards,
  • in bags with bulk products
  • in a closet with clothes
  • behind central heating radiators,
  • in carpets, walkways,
  • on indoor colors,
  • inside upholstered furniture
  • near heating devices,
  • on window sills,
  • inside smoked and dried products, meat products,
  • in sacks of grain, jars of peanuts,
  • among the books and paper.

The kozheedov caterpillars, unlike adult individuals, are quite tenacious, they do very well without food for several weeks. A soft, dry "pillow" of dust behind plinths, in the corners, near the back wall of the cabinet is an excellent shelter for growing pests. The sunlight hardly penetrates into secluded corners, the larvae feel at ease.

What does a mole look like in an apartment and how to deal with a voracious pest? Read the helpful information.

About what insects can be got in the apartment, how to recognize them and how to fight them learn from this article.

Insect routes:

  • through open windows and vents,
  • with old furniture, books,
  • inside second-hand items bought on sale
  • inside products with improper storage,
  • with cereals, whole grains,
  • when buying dried fish and meat, smoked meats,
  • from attics, basements,
  • on dried mushrooms, in a package with herbs or spices bought on the market,
  • on a pile of old carpets.

It is quite difficult to avoid “acquaintance” with tiny brown bugs: small pests are difficult to notice. The neglect of the owners when buying new or old things, clothes, products often allows pests to penetrate the house imperceptibly.

Types of little brown bugs

A man’s home is attacked by several varieties of harmful insects. Most often, kozheedy bugs crawl around the apartment or private house. In the old carpets live anthrenuses.

Tiny bugs have one peculiarity - they do not like excessive moisture. For this reason, insects do not settle in the bathroom.

Few details about each type of pest. Information is useful to all owners.

Kozheedy bugs

General information:

  • pests feed on organic matter: fur, skin, flowers, down, products, feathers. Insects gnaw through books, glued together with a starch-based compound,
  • Insect size - from 2 to 4 mm, color - dark brown or black. The faces have a rounded, tapering body, the color of a growing pest is yellow-brown,
  • grain kozheed destroys nuts (like peanuts), cereals, grain, bran, flour of different varieties,
  • ham kozheed prefers meat products, penetrates into the dried fish, smoked. Insect annoys museum workers: destroys stuffed animals, collections of zooekspononat, home damages leather products, fur, animal skins,
  • pests are not afraid of sudden changes in temperature, they feel great in basements, apartments, bird nests, in attics,
  • from the egg to the adult individual, the skinned bug develops in 6–12 months. The female lays at least hundreds of eggs,
  • the bugs are hiding in the dusty corners, among the crackers, dried mushrooms, in the crevices, among the old clothes. Kozheedov larvae poorly tolerate sunlight, trying to hide themselves away from bright light.

General information:

  • small pests, size - from 1 to 4 mm, color - brown or almost black,
  • tiny beetles inhabit old carpets,
  • insects willingly eat crumbs, particles of the epidermis, human hair that fell on carpets, nap, organic substances that are always present on carpets,
  • the larvae of anthropuses are also hiding among the villi, it is difficult to see them,
  • with a small number of colonies, insects do not cause much harm, but often cause allergic attacks in people with increased sensitivity to the body,
  • with active breeding, adults and larvae take up things, spoil them.

Anthranuses and kozheedy beetles damage products, things, furniture, fabrics (not only wool), leather products, books, carpets. Insects gnaw drywall, wooden furniture, even electrical wiring. Omnivorous insects live not only in the kitchen: pests crawl all over the apartment.

Small brown beetles carry pathogens of dangerous diseases on tiny paws and antennae. Insects move in dusty corners, food waste, bathroom area, move to the kitchen, crawl on products. The observance of hygienic norms after such “travels” is difficult to talk about.

How to get rid: effective methods

The first stage is the identification of all the places where kozheedy or antrenuses settled. Small pests often hide behind plinths. The owners will have to explore every corner of the apartment to find adult beetles and larvae, check shelves in the kitchen, indoor plants, wardrobes with clothes, bookshelves.

The second stage is the selection of the optimal means for the destruction of insects. It is important to consider how many pests have settled in the home, whether there are allergic homes or small children.

Get rid of the bugs help chemicals and folk remedies. With a large number of kozheedov and anthrenuses, it is easier to invite professional disinsectors than to waste time and nerves on self-treatment of an apartment.

The third stage is the direct fight against tiny brown bugs. If you decide to conduct a pest control on your own, you will have to allocate two or three days to prepare for the procedure, to choose the time to apply toxic products or household formulations.

Note to owners:

  • the complexity of self-processing - in a large number of areas where harmful beetles can live. For this reason, it's easier to turn to professionals
  • the task of the owners is to check the bulk products, flowerpots with indoor flowers, look into the refrigerator,
  • mandatory condition - removal of trash, use of a vacuum cleaner to collect insects, wet cleaning,
  • only in the absence of secluded, dusty corners there is a chance to get rid of kozheedov and anthrenuses forever.

How to get insects yourself

Procedure:

  • vacuum the carpets, take out the sun or freeze in the winter,
  • boil the cloth in a soap solution,
  • treat leather products and leatherette with insecticides,
  • clean the upholstered furniture with a steam generator,
  • woolen and synthetic things to freeze on the balcony or in the freezer,
  • get all the foodstuffs, packages, jars of cereals, flour out of the lockers, review stocks. If bugs are found in the croup, do not fry the millet, buckwheat or rice in the oven, then get the dead individuals. It is more beneficial for health without regret to throw away damaged grains in order to protect the body from the penetration of pathogenic microbes, which are often found on the antennae and legs of pests,
  • check knitted clothes, clothes made of natural fabrics, fur, leather products. Inspect cabinets, dresser, bedside tables, wipe with soap and water from the inside,
  • check skirting, remove old, cracked products, replace with new ones. If the wooden elements still serve, then seal all the cracks.

A few more tips:

  • after preparation, treat the baseboards, floor, crevices, corners, wooden furniture with toxic aerosol or insecticide solution. Do not buy a universal stav: the best option - the funds intended for the destruction of harmful bugs. Suitable drugs: Antimol, Difox, Supronid, Morimol,
  • treat hazardous areas twice a week for a month. Only with this approach can you get rid of small bugs. After each procedure, vacuum and thoroughly clean the floors.
  • among folk methods, boric acid gives a good effect. Pharmaceutical powder to fall asleep in all the cracks where pests can live. We'll have to buy a few bags of money: harmful insects inhabit many parts of the home. Boric acid does not harm animals and households, but kozheedy, antrenus, cockroaches, ants, fleas, and other unpleasant and dangerous "neighbors" do not tolerate the action of the means.

Preventive measures

The fight against kozheedami bugs and anthrenuses takes up a lot of time and effort from the owners. After the removal of tiny insects, it is important to understand how to act so that pests do not settle again at home.

How to act:

  • in the summer, put mosquito nets on the windows,
  • to protect the pillows with gratings with small cells,
  • prevent the accumulation of wool in the corners, at the front door or near the cabinets, if the cat or dog lives at home,
  • without regret giving old things to a charity foundation. If no one wears clothes for a long time, dust accumulates in it, there is favorable soil for the reproduction of kozheedov, clothes and fur moths in the apartment,
  • clean things for storage, pre-processing products with anti-drug remedy - permina solution of 0.005%. A simple procedure will prevent the development of moth larvae and kozheedov,
  • periodically take things out of the closets, air them on the balcony, freeze in the winter or hang out in the sun in the summer to destroy the larvae and adults. Regular care of things, maintaining cleanliness of storage places helps with the fight against moths, laundry lice,
  • in the winter to make "dust collectors" in the cold. Particular attention to the carpet, sweaty curtains, capes on chairs and sofas,
  • periodic cleaning of upholstered furniture with a steam generator is a great way to remove all the pests that are hidden in the folds and seams of the upholstery,
  • put a pair of garlic cloves in each jar of cereal or flour. A good option for scaring away bugs and food moths is bay leaf,
  • предупредить проникновение вредных насекомых поможет герметизация не только дыр в полу или плинтусах, но и задувка монтажной пеной всех отверстий/щелей, ведущих в квартиру из подвала/чердака, от соседей.

  • Treat the furniture with special agents and impregnations,
  • Be careful when shopping for groceries.

Review: Spray from insects Pure House Super universal - Effective, simple, convenient Advantages: Effective, easy to use. Easily handle hard-to-reach places and cracks, due to the use of a special tube. Disadvantages: Very toxic, requires the use of a respirator. I bought a similar aerosol in Auchan (of the same manufacturer, only the bottle has a slightly different color). The price is about 130 rubles. Applied a week ago against scales and ants. Within a few hours, two scales were seen crawling out into the white light and then dead. From that moment I have not seen a single insect, including ants. So, I recommend to use. Just remember to put on a respirator before use. The tool is quite toxic. Poisoning is unlikely to earn, but it affects the respiratory organs. After applying some time, it is advisable not to air the treated room.

Review: Raid aerosol Against flying and crawling insects - it helped! Pluses: helps, effective, convenient Disadvantages: very persistent acrid smell All readers Otzovika good time of day! From onions in the kitchen somehow small midges were bred. About Raid Aerosol Against flying and crawling insects, I learned on our site Otzovik. It was written that it smells like lavender. I will say frankly. He does not smell any lavender, a terrible, poisonous smell. Very sharp. My advice to you, if you are going to use this spray, then you need to go somewhere for 3-4 hours from this room. The smell does not erode for a long time. But he knows his business spray. Moshek killed on the spot. At one time, one day after using the spray, all the midges disappeared! I will recommend this spray to you. The farm is useful.

Review: Akvafumigator Raptor Instant insect eradication system - Just a magic tool. Pluses: Works from all domestic insects in one day. Disadvantages: One pack of 30 squares and is not cheap. The tool has no analogues - this is a Japanese tool. The principle is this: In the package there is a container where liquid (it is pink) is poured from the bag that is attached. Do not be afraid - it is a simple colored water (14 years ago, by the way, water was not attached). Further in the package there is a checker, which must be placed in a container with water. Everything. After 2 minutes, steam begins to come out, which penetrates into incredible cracks. Steam, of course, is poisonous and, naturally, all living things must leave the room for a couple of hours. I could not stand the flowers, they calmly survived the processing. Representatives showed us the film - a cockroach was placed in the tube (live), the tube was inserted into another tube of a slightly larger diameter, then in another tube and covered with a glass cap. Launched a checker into action and the sentence came into execution. In reality, it was clear that the steam still penetrated both through the glass cap and through the test tubes, reaching its goal. Here it is. A small note, if the fight against bedbugs and fleas, it is better to run a checker at night, because they are nocturnal residents. When you come home, you will be pleased with the smell-smell of fresh-washed floors. And, by the way, only this tool destroys bed mites, which, alas, exist in all. I myself resorted to the tool because of, probably, bedbugs. Lying in bed I saw something crawling along a black pillow, screeching, squeaking, tears, snot, drooling. We slept in the nursery, and our room was supported by the door with old bedspreads and the next day, in the evening, they put a piece of saber and went to their parents for the night. That's how we dealt with all sorts of crawling there, or jumping. And this year I had to resort because of the moth. The reptiles ate my dried apples and the races bred like butterflies in a meadow. I found corpses in apples, of course, later. At that moment, I got off my feet, looking for what they found so tasty. Thank God not a fur coat and not children's valenki.

If, after all, you are “lucky” to cope with domestic beetles yourself and you celebrate a victory, perhaps this information was useful. Use simple preventive measures, use folk remedies. If you have to resort to the use of chemicals, do not forget about safety measures when working with insecticides. Let only coziness and comfort settle in your home. And no harmful insects!

The first stage - cleaning

General cleaning - a strategic step, without which it can not do.

  1. We throw away things that are already spoiled by a bug. If this parting is unacceptable, then things need to be boiled or frozen (and it is better that, and more!), And then washed with detergent at the highest possible temperatures. Skin gutters and their larvae are incapacitated at temperatures below -10 degrees, but for better results, it is better if things stay 3–4 hours in 20-degree frost.
  2. Wipe dust from all surfaces using disinfectants.
  3. We carry out cleaning of carpets, upholstered furniture with a vacuum cleaner. We do this every day, preferably 2-3 times, after each cleaning, either we change the bag or carefully shake it outside. If we use a model of a vacuum cleaner with a water filter, then pour out the water and rinse the container.
  4. My floors with the addition of a disinfector (for example, "Mr. Proper").

Cleaning - the most important stage of the fight with kozheedom

As a result, part of the occupants will be defeated, in addition, such a deep cleaning will help to detect their localization.

What to consider

In order for the surface treatment to be as complete as possible, you need to take into account a number of peculiarities of the leather.

The larvae of the bug do not tolerate light, so special attention should be paid to the processing of the inner walls of furniture - places where light does not fall.

If the larvae have found food, their development will be very fast.

Advantages and disadvantages of fumigators

A device that operates from a power outlet heats a medium in the form of tablets or liquid for the destruction of pests (for example, Raid) and distributes its particles through the air. The main advantage of this method is that it can cover large areas. In addition, no special effort is required from a person. And the negative sides include the fact that:

  • without electricity, this method does not work,
  • for maximum effect, the aggregate should be located as close as possible to the localization of the parasites, and this is not always close to the power source,
  • For the first results, it will take about 2 weeks to wait.

In this regard, we can conclude that fumigators are very good prophylactic agents.

The use of a fumigator is not a strong means of baiting kozheedov; rather, it is the prevention of its appearance.

Antimol: pros and cons

The advantage of these funds (for example, "Fandal", "Dezmol", "Antimol"), used only in combination with others, can be considered a wide range of prices. But the disadvantages are quite significant:

  • a pungent smell that not everyone likes
  • short term storage of funds.

Antimol has a strong odor, so this method of getting rid of bugs is contraindicated for people with allergies.

Permethrin: what is it and why

This is a contact insecticide of natural origin. Getting into the body kozheeda causes paralysis.

It is considered a super effective remedy for kozheedami.

Permethrin is also used to treat pediculosis.

However, you can buy this product in the form of an aerosol or solution only at a pharmacy.

Folk methods of dealing with kozheedom

Experts advise to combine chemical and folk remedies to combat the kozheedom beetle - only then will these methods yield a result.

  1. In winter, we freeze the room and things to the maximum. We carry out these procedures regularly (2-3 times a week), not forgetting to do wet cleaning.
  2. To disinfect things, we use the freezer, sending things there for 2–3 hours, and then washing them at the highest possible temperature.
  3. We process surfaces and things with steam. This method is ineffective even in combination with others, since it is impossible to steam all the nooks of the house.

Cleaning the steam generator does not give an absolute effect, because in remote places, unlike bugs, it does not get

By themselves, folk remedies for kozheedom are ineffective and short-term.

It is interesting. One way to get rid of the kozheed invasion in one step is only one way: destructive disinsection at home, which is carried out by experts. However, they recommend that after a while (1–1.5 months), the procedure should be repeated as a preventive measure.

Prevention - the third, final stage of the struggle

Having got rid of insects, you can relax only after all the necessary preventive measures have been taken.

  1. Regular wet cleaning will help create an intolerable microclimate for leather.
  2. If vinegar (1 tablespoon per 1 liter) is added to the floor washing water, the bugs will not come close to your house.
  3. Concentrated soap solution for mopping kills most of the larvae hiding near baseboards or in crevices in the floor.
  4. Regular removal of garbage and washing buckets will prevent the appearance of parasites.
  5. Mosquito nets are also well protected from the penetration of bugs from the street into the house.
  6. Regular cleaning with the removal of unnecessary trash negates the multiplication of insects.
  7. Things must be kept in special polyethylene covers so that leather skimmers cannot reach them.
  8. Cereals, flour, dried fruits, etc., are best kept in glass jars, not cloth bags.

Tissue bags attract kozheeda no less than their contents.

And the last thing: if there is no junk in the house, then it is possible not to recall the leather beetle.

Those who faced the problem of uninvited kozheedov tenants know how difficult it is to win in this fight.

I found these beetles on my window-sill, how and where they came from incomprehensibly, I didn’t immediately know that it was leather, and then I found and read everything about them on the Internet. Sounded the alarm, as they are dangerous not only for household items, but for people and pets. I tried a water suspension, but it did not help, and then I took Inta-Vir Aerosol from Insects, processed all the rooms (walls, windows, baseboards and batteries), well, everything, in general. Convenient spray, and most importantly, that effective. It is this remedy that has saved my apartment from these kozheedov beetles, it also has a long nose there, you can get in places under the baseboard, cracks in the floor, if there are any.

Sometimes the fight against kozheedami is delayed for several months.

Skin damage is generally harmful. At us they appeared about 2 years ago. Used Contra insect. All things are washed at a high pace. Linen was boiled, ironed on 2 sides, in bags and on the balcony for 4–5 days (it was winter). Mattresses processed and also on the balcony. The whole apartment, incl. furniture, pantry, wardrobes in the hallway and in the rooms were disassembled, processed, under the baseboards, in the cracks between the doors, on the window sills, in the bathroom and under the sink in the kitchen also processed, everywhere the floors were washed with chlorine. The apartment was uninhabited for several days. Processing should be done 2 times, so all things do not necessarily immediately lay in their places. 2 months after cleansing kozheedov no longer seen. ps: if kozheedy started in the house, people often have trouble breathing, itching.

Once faced with kozheedom, preventive measures have to constantly carry out.

Also faced with this problem. Periodically I saw these beetles in the apartment (more often on curtains and windowsill). And it usually happened in the spring - when the sun began to shine brightly. Apparently, these parasites flew into the light. She asked her friends if there were any such people — many answered: it was from flower pots or they flew out of a window. But after studying this topic on the Internet, I began to actively deal with them. And now I fight. What I do: 1. I periodically process the baseboards with a toilet cleaner (a very thermonuclear thing) while opening the windows in the house. I also do the same with wardrobes, sofas and other furniture, where I find beetles or larvae. They live not only behind plinths, but also hide in the casing of the sofa. I also want to buy a spray bottle and dilute the concentrated solution with toilet cleaner and process the sofas (the part that comes into contact with the wall). 2. I bought boric acid in a pharmacy (we have 1 bag of 40 rubles in the city of Tomsk) and fell asleep for baseboards. 3. I made a wardrobe revision and occasionally throw away unnecessary things - you cannot save or save anything if you have leather goods in your apartment. 4. Do not help money from the moths, which I occasionally put in the sofas THAN EVERYTHING WILL END WHILE I DO NOT KNOW which of us will survive.

At least twice a year, you should sort out the folded clothes and bedding in the closet, throw away old things and prevent objects from becoming stale. For kozheedov, lavender tablets, camphor, wormwood will be destructive; the parasites also do not like the scent of tobacco and tansy. The use of such special tools will protect your belongings from the onslaught of pests and allow you to keep valuable items safe and sound. Get rid of trash!

The fight against kozheedami beetles, who settled in your house, is a protracted process, requiring considerable efforts to destroy parasites. The main thing is to start this fight as soon as bugs are noticed. Careful cleaning, methodical harassment and regular prevention are a guarantee that skin care will be uncomfortable in your home.
