If you know the Ukrainian language, you probably already have solved the secret of the main ingredient. This tsybulya, that is, onions! Tsybulnik, in fact, are some onion cakes. The history of their appearance is not known for certain, but, according to one of the legends, they originated in Lviv (therefore, they are sometimes called “Lviv flat cakes”).

During the besieging of Lviv by the Turks, the townspeople decided to deceive the enemies by putting carts with sand at the gates, imitating provisions. The opponents left the city, considering that there was still a lot of food and strength. But in fact, then only a bow remained, and it was they who were fed by the woman’s soldiers, cooking cakes.

First option

This recipe is quite simple, and for cooking you will need:

  • four onions,
  • half a cup of wheat flour,
  • three eggs,
  • a teaspoon of soda or baking powder (baking powder),
  • sunflower oil for frying,
  • salt pepper.

  1. Peel and chop the onions in any way that is familiar to you, for example, skip through a meat grinder or chop with a knife (you can use a grater).
  2. Put the onion in a rather deep bowl, there break the eggs, add the flour and salt with pepper, and baking powder or previously quenched with boiling water or vinegar soda. Mix everything well.
  3. Heat the oil in a skillet.
  4. Pick up the onion dough with a tablespoon and place the tortillas on the bottom of the pan. Fry them until golden and crisp on both sides.

Second option

These homemade fish shakers are more crumbly and soft.

  • three large onions,
  • two or three eggs,
  • two tablespoons of semolina,
  • tablespoon flour,
  • salt,
  • oil (for frying).

  1. Onions after the preliminary cleansing, finely chop or, for example, rub.
  2. In the resulting onion mass, add eggs, semolina with flour and salt. Mix everything to get a homogeneous mass. Leave it for half an hour, during this time the semolina will swell a little, so that the cakes will become more crumbly, airy.
  3. Heat the oil well in the pan.
  4. Spoon form cakes, put in a frying pan and fry for literally a couple of minutes on each side.

A few final recommendations:

  1. Serve tsibulniki best hot or warm, always with sour cream.
  2. These onion tortillas can be used in different ways, for example, served as a separate dish for tea, eating with first courses or soups instead of bread.
  3. If you add sugar to the dough, then you get sweet pancakes.
  4. Although the taste and smell of onions in the finished tsybulnikah not felt, you can give them a spicy aroma and interesting flavor. To do this, add your favorite seasonings or spices, they definitely will not be superfluous.
  5. You can try to mix onions with other ingredients, such as zucchini, apples, pumpkin. Of course, such flatbreads will no longer be a traditional chicken, but this will not make them any less tasty.

If you have a bow at home, then let it go - make tsybulniki!

INGREDIENTS

  • Onion 4 Pieces
  • Flour 100 Grams
  • Soda 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Vinegar 9 percent. or lemon juice 1 teaspoon
    for slaking soda
  • Eggs 3 Pieces
  • Salt, black pepper To taste
  • Vegetable oil 50 Milliliters
    for frying

1. Prepare products for tsybulnik.

2. Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes.

3. Salt it and let stand for running juice for 5 minutes. You can mash it a little with your hands.

4. Add black pepper, raw eggs, mix.

5. Introduce flour and hydrated soda. Stir.

6. Dough for frying is ready.

7. In a well-heated butter with a tablespoon, spread the dough, fry.

8. Turn over, fry well on both sides to a golden color.

9. Tzibulniki ready!

Cooking

onions - 2 pcs.
egg - 1 pc.
milk - half a cup
salt - pinch
flour - 3 tbsp
0.5 tsp of soda, quenched with vinegar
vegetable oil

Onions cut into thin half rings. I did it with the Berner grater. Well, it seems to me, you can just cut into cubes.

Salt, mash our onions.
Add egg, soda, flour. then milk. Mix everything well.

Fry in vegetable oil like pancakes.

I got 10 pcs. I served them to the soup.
Here's another. I learned that tsibulniki can then be poured with a zazharka from onions, carrots and tomato and put out for about half an hour.

But I do not know how and I will never bake pies, and other sweets, I do not consider them useful and good food.

I do not know how to cook and am not proud of it. A woman should be able to cook, just as a man should be able to earn money. For me, joy when scrambled eggs do not burn. I enjoy it as a small child.

I do not understand how you can not be able to)
I do not want / never did - is another matter.
even if I cook with new recipes, everything turns out right away.
Well, the main secret is to turn off the Internet while cooking) oh, how much I got through the food))

I know how to cook, very well, even, but until the age of 16 I could only fry eggs - this is how my mother spoiled her. And from the age of 16 I began to live independently, I had to study myself — my mother's advice, Internet recipes, my own imagination. This is how it is. My husband also knows how to cook and is very tasty.

HOW CAN NOT BE ABLE? Enough to buy fresh produce and strictly follow the normal recipe. Now there are photo and video recipes. Not being able to cook can only really *** and Krivorukov. We both cook well, but we rarely do it, since we work a lot.

I can. Until the age of 17, she didn’t even know how to cook an egg, mother always prepared. But nothing, I gradually began to learn myself, I liked cooking, in the beginning, of course, many things didn't work out, and the meat was underfed and I cooked pasta, but everything comes with experience. My husband also knows how to cook, after school one lived for a long time and learned.

I love to cook, my husband does not know how.

I am 19, at the age of 16-17 I began to worry that I did not know how to cook various goodies, but I knew how to cook simple soups and mashed potatoes for three years, and that was all))) now my culinary abilities have expanded, but not like I would like to learn more quickly, I probably need to live alone, so that I can learn faster), and then you will come back from uni, but mom has already cooked up, and you don’t need to learn anything: D

I know how to cook. At the age of 18, she easily baked apple and cabbage pies. The dough, of course, is also itself. I learned a lot from my mother and from books. and also from different people. Itself - an intellectual worker. Mom too. The husband is almost unable to cook. Only scrambled eggs, potatoes, etc. True, a couple of times on March 8 made great meat dishes according to book recipes. So I think that the main reason is laziness. At the same time I was terribly tired of cooking. Tired morally.

My everyone is delighted with my masterpieces) Although recently I almost divorced my husband because I did not know how to cook (((

I can of course, but not all that I wanted. And sometimes you just want to relax from the kitchen, so I buy ready-made mixes of rollton, my husband does not mind, he sometimes asks them himself. Today we will have bacon risotto, by the way, I have never tasted it so good

I can, my husband knows. Now I often cook because I sit with a baby and I don’t stay in the kitchen for days if my husband is hungry and he is on vacation, and I am at work, he can calmly cook for himself and for me.

How to cook tsibulaniki?

If there are no special onion lovers in your family, try making this dish and surprise them with unusual tastes of tsibulaiks, which hardly hints at the presence of onions among the main ingredients.

  • onion - 4 pcs.,
  • eggs - 2 pcs.,
  • flour - 6 tbsp. spoons
  • kefir - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • soda - ½ tsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp,
  • salt, pepper - to taste.

Finely chop the onion, salt, pepper and crush slightly. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, a pinch of salt and pepper, a little kefir, or sour cream, flour, and vinegar baking soda. In the resulting thick, like a pancake, the dough mix pieces of onion. Fry tsibulyaniki on both sides in a frying pan with vegetable oil until golden brown. Served with sour cream and greens.

Milk-drenched recipe

This recipe is different from the previous accuracy of its appearance. Thanks to the finer cutting and the less dense dough, the finished tsibulaniki can not be distinguished from real pancakes.

  • onions - 2 pcs.,
  • egg - 1 pc.,
  • flour - Art. spoons
  • milk - ½ st.,
  • parsley - 1/3 bunch,
  • soda - ½ tsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp,
  • salt, pepper - to taste.

Onions cleaned and rubbed on a small shredder, prisalivaem, obminaem hands. To onion ringlets add eggs, flour and milk. Knead dough kneaded, season it if necessary and fry in a tablespoon in vegetable oil on both sides.

Finished tsibulyaniki can be immediately served to the table, and you can stew with tomato sauce. Enjoy your meal!

Tsibulniki

Tsybulniki is not only a funny word, but also a tasty dish. It received such a strange name for the reason that it is prepared from onions, and in Ukraine, the onion is called “Tsybulya”. The old legend says that they didn’t come up with tsybulniki not from the good life, but during the siege of Lviv, when the city was tight with grubs (as is usually the case during the siege). As they say, necessity is the mother of invention. And I'll tell you, it turned out just fine! True, it is very high in calories, because it is necessary to fry tsybulniki in vegetable oil. For example, I can afford this dish infrequently, although I love it very much. And by the way, do you know that in the Smolensk region there is a village called Tsybulniki? Here where, probably, tsybulnik in a big honor! Although not a fact, the locals may not even suspect about such a dish, since it is purely Ukrainian. Usually it is served as a snack to the famous Ukrainian red borsch. Delicious food is unreal, so I certainly advise everyone to submit a rich borsch with tsybulniki for a Sunday family dinner - it is so fragrant and tasty that it’s impossible to convey with words, it’s better to cook and see for yourself. And cooking them is easy!

  • Onion - 4 pcs
  • Sunflower oil - 1/2 stack.
  • Flour - 3 tbsp. l
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • Egg - 3 pcs

1. Peel the onion.

2. Cut it into thin half-rings, salt and knead well with your hands.

3. Add the eggs.

4. Then add flour.

5. Mix all ingredients well.

6. Heat the sunflower oil in a skillet and spread the resulting mass in a tablespoon.

7. Fry tsybulnik on both sides until confident golden color. Finished tsibulniki get out of a saucepan and lay out on napkins or paper towels to remove excess fat, and then served to the table. Better, as I wrote above, with borscht, but in themselves, the chicken shakers are very good. Oh, if it’s still not so high-calorie, I would cook fish every day.
